In our daily lives, we meet a lot of people. The beauty of God’s creation is that every person is unique. God is creative and in Him there is no repetition. Look at the flowers in the field, animals on the land, fishes in the sea.
In this life, we can see a varieties of people like: the calm headed,, short-tempered and many more. Some of the people are so nice that we feel like talking again and again with them. However, some people are pressure cookers. they are impossible to handle. Once, they start exploding, no matter what you do, they cannot be silent because they are pressure cooker which will become calm only after the steam goes out.
How can we handle these dear ones?
I am still working on it 🙂 However, one thing that I do is to be calm and hear whatever they want to say. They may have to say anything and everything; The best thing that we can do is to observe and listen what they have to say and after the steam is out, respond to them in a calm manner for we know their weakness and we have a huge part in helping them.
If you are the pressure cooker, I suggest that you take a long walk or listen to some music. Music definitely can soften your mind and behavior. Read the Bible, pray, and If needed, talk to a counselor or your Pastor.
