Giving Thanks at All Circumstances

1 Thessalonians 5: 17- Paul writes, give thanks at all circumstances, for this is the will of God.

Robinson Crusoe was wrecked on his lonely island engaged in a shipwreck. He made two columns what he called it evil and good. He was not killed but was lonely in that island. He was divided from human society, but he was not starving.

He had no clothes, but he was living in a hot climate where he didn’t need them. He was without any means of defence but he saw no wild beasts around him.

There was no one to help him but it happened that the wrecked ship was near him, so he could easily get the food that he needed.

Finally, he concluded that there was not any condition in the world so miserable but that one could find something for which to be grateful.

There is always something to be grateful for.

I was planning of preaching this sermon on Sunday. I kept saying to myself to give thanks at all circumstances. For the first time, I forgot to take the Bible 🙂 WOW! what a tragedy! I thought my wife will take and vice-versa

God expects everyone to practice what you preach. It might be revival preachers, be it Mighty preachers, or believers.

Giving thanks to the Lord at all times must be the attitude of every human being.
